Mentally Challenged

i) Mentally retarded home :

There is always an empty space if we talk about the children who are specially challenged. These belong to such section which is very sensitive as they do not even understand the wrong done to them. They are prone to physical as well as sexual abuse. There are many cases reported through Childline 1098 where team find such children and finds it difficult to provide them the best care they require. So Muskan established and running a home for person who are differently able by nature. It includes both children and adults. The main objectives of starting such home were to provide shelter, food and taking care.

ii) Special Education School :

Muskan Sansthan, has also initiated a center / integrated school namely “Muskan Special Education” School for special education which is fully equipped with the Preschool and School session, Education and Training for all kinds of children with Behavior Problems, Children with Multiple Disabilities, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, etc. and organizing Extra Curricular Activities, like Yoga, Dance, Music, Arts-N-Crafts, etc. for the same.

The team of specialists attending the Assessment and Counseling Unit of  “Special Education School”, consists of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Special Educators, Qualified Academic Teachers, Speech and Occupational Therapists, etc. Besides this the Child Specialists, Ortho-Dentists, ENT & Neuro- psychiatrist, regularly visit the institute. The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) (Ministry of Social Empower..

We regularly provide all Specialized Therapies to our students including Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, Computer Therapy, Pet Therapy (with Dogs & Horses), Vocational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Yoga & Meditation and more. We are also in the process to TIE-UP / Associate with Open School Boards, like NOS and others, to enable children enhance their IQ as well as get prepared to give examination.

As of now we have rehabilitated 510 children & currently we have 50 students in our Mentally Retarded home.
