This programme was initiated in the year 2012 for those children who are classified as rag pickers, child laborers, beggars, small vendors, street performers, orphans, trafficked kids and runaways. The children who are not willing to go to school either remain at home or roam about without any aim and ambitions in their lives and such children are asked and advised to come under the open shelter programme. These children are allowed to remain in the institution during the day and leave for their respective homes in the evening but for the ones who’re without a home are allowed to stay back. 19 children have been benefitted so far. The funds had been received from the Assistant Director, Child Rights and District Child Protection Unit, Dungarpur.
