Destitute Children Home:
The organization is successfully running this home since December’06. The grants-in-aid have been received from the Assistant Director, Child Rights and District Child Protection Unit, Dungarpur with an intake of 150 boys, who are the beneficiaries. The home provides a refuge to those boys who are destitute, deprived and have been abandoned or exploited by society, community, family, relatives etc.
The objective of the home is to provide facilities of shelter, food and adequate education. The qualified and trained staff i.e. Wardens, Caretakers, Medical Officer etc. ensure the well-being of these boys. Besides this, sports and recreational activities like local and indoor games, Bal Sabha, television entertainment etc. is also conducted. The boys get free education from class 1st to 10th standard in government schools. In the reported year, 150 boys have registered in the home and 77 boys previously registered have been rehabilitated.
